Jumpy Bunny in Heaven Blue is a soft, Swedish-designed first bunny with weighted feet and a sweet embroidered face. Here's how to decide if it suits your baby.
Quick Answer
Choose Jumpy Bunny in Heaven Blue if you want a soft, Swedish-designed first bunny with gently weighted feet and a calm blue tone. Skip it if you need a machine-washable plush or a larger cuddle companion.
Why size and weight matter for a first bunny
At 11 inches long, 6 inches wide, and 4 inches high, Jumpy Bunny is small enough for a newborn's grasp once they start reaching, but large enough to feel present in the crib or stroller. The gently weighted feet give it a slight settle-in-place quality that many parents find reassuring during early cuddle sessions.
Because the catalog does not list a machine-washable rating, treat surface cleaning as your default care approach. If easy full-machine washing is a non-negotiable for you, this is the main trade-off to weigh before buying.
Heaven Blue vs. the other color options
Heaven Blue is one of five dreamy colors, alongside Vanilla, Strawberry, Peach, and Lime. The blue shade reads calm and slightly less traditional than pink or peach, which makes it a practical choice if you want a bunny that works for any nursery palette or as a gender-neutral newborn gift.
Color is purely a preference decision here—the size, softness, and design are the same across the range. Pick Heaven Blue if you want a soothing, versatile look; choose a warmer tone if you prefer a more classic baby-gift feel.
What the Swedish design and materials signal
Jumpy Bunny is designed in Sweden with an heirloom touch, using ultra-soft fabric from nose to tail, silky inner ears, and an embroidered muzzle. The embroidered face means there are no small plastic eyes or loose nose pieces to worry about during supervised cuddle time.
The silky inner ears add a tactile detail that older babies often enjoy exploring, while the soft outer fabric keeps the overall feel gentle against a newborn's skin.
Decision Rules for New Parents
- If you want a first bunny for a newborn: Choose Jumpy Bunny in Heaven Blue when you need a small, soft plush that fits easily in a crib or diaper bag. Its 11-inch length and embroidered face make it a low-fuss first companion for supervised cuddles. Confirm you are comfortable with surface cleaning before purchase.
- If you need a machine-washable plush: The catalog does not list Jumpy Bunny as machine-washable, so if easy full washing is essential, consider a plush with a confirmed washable rating instead.
- If you are buying as a baby shower or newborn gift: Heaven Blue works well as a gender-neutral gift, especially paired with a card noting the Swedish design and heirloom touch. If the parents prefer traditional pink or peach, choose one of the other four colors instead. Check the parents' nursery colors before choosing the shade.
- If you are choosing between sizes: Jumpy Bunny is a compact first plush, not a large cuddle companion. If you want a bigger bunny for an older toddler or a bed centerpiece, size up to a larger plush in the Bukowski Bears range.
